Such is life

Sé que ha pasado un tiempo ya desde que te colgué el teléfono. Ya ni siquiera recuerdo por qué peleamos. Los recuerdos llegan y se van. Reíamos sin miedo, sin consciencia de lo que estábamos omitiendo. Ya no estoy enojada. Pero hay algo que debes saber. Pasó algo. Te prometo que no lo planeé. No significa que dejé de amarte y que me olvidé por completo de ti. Recuerdo todo el caleidoscopio de sensaciones que me regalaste un día, prometo guardarlo. Todo está bien ahora. Pasó algo. Requirió de tiempo y miedo. Pero me recompuse pieza por pieza y estoy lista para perdonarte.  No fui a ningún retiro espiritual, no empecé una dieta nueva, ni tampoco me afilié a una nueva religión. Aunque lo intenté, sigo sin practicar yoga, ni ir al gimnasio. Sigo siendo la misma, pero diferente. Pasó algo, y creo que lo debes saber. Encontré a alguien.  Llegó de imprevisto, no lo llamé y me sorprendió por completo. Espero que estés muy feliz por mi, así como yo lo estaría por ti...

Everyone has experienced at least sometime the absence of meaning in our lives. The aftermath of the millennial generation that accepts same-sex marriage and fights for the right of women to decide whether to give birth or not, is a deeply fear to hold on to their own beliefs, a strong fear to be judged as “close minded”.
